Tractor Trailers
help-orphans
We were in great need of some repairs to our tractor trailers which are used on the farm. Our old single axel steel trailers have been in use for years (one of them since 1954) and are badly in need of new steel floors and sides. Thanks to volunteer help we made a new trailer and repaired all our other ones, this was all done in our workshop by our staff/workers/volunteers.

We are in great need of some repairs to our tractor trailers which are used on the farm. The single axel steel trailers have been in use for years (one of them since 1954) and are badly in need of new steel floors and sides. All of this work can be done in our workshop by our staff/workers -this provides both a training oppertunity for our children and also helps to save costs significantly.

As work has increased over the years on the farm we have purchased several trailers for transporting grains, fertilizers, bricks, soil... just about anything. These trailers attach to the tractors and are in constant use -as a result several of them are in need of repair and one is in need of replacement.

Project Update:
Thanks to the support of Mr John Poxon from Launceston, Tasmania along with many friends we have been able to buy the materials and build a large new tractor trailer -we even have a hydraulic ram on its way from Australia for it! With some left over materials we were able to repair 2 other trailers!
